WiP: Who's that... WTH am I doing?!

I got my new wacom...
My bunnies have already christened the cord but no harm, no foul. I've gotten pretty good at wire splicing since I got them anyways.
that being said, however, I've been reteaching myself how to color with CS because I lost my original photo shop program (from like '98) and CS is a bit more in depth and finicky. This one isn't the best of the group I'm working on for a Judge character for an oct but it was the only one I remember to screenshot for a summarized WiP.

Now, I'm not posting this cause I'm some great coloring artist but  just to show some of the steps I go through to do something  simple like a basic Pokemon. You'll notice the changing line up of my layers and the color overspills. I just thought it'd be interesting to put up something from my amateur files.
You'll see the finalized version once I post (& link) the OCT character sheet. The finalized version. You can tell which ones I started first then last by the detail as I got more used to CS and my tablet. ><
