'Til we meet again...

This took me about 6 hours straight... just for the pencil sketch of our kitty loving Xenomorph. I'm happy with it, especially seeing as I used a tiny toy with very few positions for reference. I just couldn't get a good 'pause' on my AvP movie... I think my eyes are crossed permanently, LOL.

The kitty in the picture is dearly departed pet. I will admit to referencing one of the pictures in her gallery (here: [link] ) because when I saw that tail I got my idea for the picture. I liked the idea of both of them from behind. I wanted to name it "Fond Farewells..." but that sounded so final so that's why it got changed to what it is now.
Whether it makes it in the contest or not I don't mind, I'm just hoping that likes it.

(The background is a digitized picture of some mud and rock steps near 18 mile creek where I live.)
