A little bit Country and a little bit Rock & Roll
For this challenge the designers were asked to create 2 looks for singer, Miranda Lambert - a red carpet design and a performance design. I can honestly say, I couldn't be more stoked! >> I had plenty of her music to listen to while working on these, too. So, what are you looking at here? Well, with a few last minute things that popped up over at the Catwalk, I was shifted over to team Keeping it Real, which meant my assigned color palette was: black, silver, navy and white.

Red Carpet:The gown is a single piece with the outer shell ruching beneath the bust line before flowing out over the fitted skirt beneath. The shell is also lined with a shimmery silver material. I looked through PAGES of red carpet pictures of Miranda to see what she liked to wear and found a pattern of plunging neck lines and bare arms. She also tends to wear a lot of short skirts during her performances, which is what inspired this look.
Accessories:
Lord & Taylor Sterling Silver and Faceted Teardrop Earrings [link]
Effy Collection Sterling Silver Bangle [link]
Anne Klein 16' Y Necklace [link]
Pelle Moda Whitley Glitter Platform Pumps [link]

Performance: I wanted to keep the country with this look but add a slightly harder, rocker, edge to it. The top is a smoke grey tank under a leather bodice. The thick stitching is on purpose along the embossed center panel which would be a silver metallic leather (I took notes from Daniel on this one). The pants are also leather and there is fringe on the sides in a mix of silver and white and cuttings of the embossed leather from the bodice.
Accessories:

BCBGeneration Silver-Tone Linear Bar Bracelet [link]

This look, omygoodness, this look is *everything!!!* I think I have nothing negative to say/have anything wrong with it, which is super rare!

The evening look: is it simple? yes. BUT I researched her red-carpet looks (because I take my judging very seriously) and I think this completely fits in for her. Despite being not crazily embellished and whatnot, it oozes elegance, and I love your inspiration. I'm curvy too, and I would wear this gown in a heart beat. Absolute perfection.

The stage wear: You hit the nail on the head with this one as well! There's a perfect balance between hard and soft, and you really stayed true to the challenge (which is usually my number one critique!) It's definitely rock, but there's also touches of "country" which I *love*. I personally hate fringe, but here? here it's like omg no words about how stunning this is! Is the belt and the details on the pants a little much? For me personally yes, but it's not a detail that's distracting/consumes the look so I'm not too bothered.
