C1: Blood Lust

Fashion Fever did it! They tossed us a curve! After submitting our pieces we've been told to introduce a non-typical goth color into the design. Oo Now I used to be a Goth who merged into Emo. I used to dress primarily in black and dark purple but my make-up and accessories used nearly any color I liked (even pink and bright green), so yup... I've been stumped. So I took their advice and researched goth clothing sites *le sigh*. Reds, black, gray, purple, dark blue... that was the majority. Um, I'm going to risk it and not change my design because I've already incorporated pink with the skull & crossbones applique; and white with the checks and boot buckles.
Here's to risking it...

Now let me introduce my first contest entry: Challenge One - Blood Lust.
We were supposed to create a design based on specified instructions and theme from posted cards: [link] I'm having fun! So much in fact that I finished my submission the day after the first contest opened up.

Now what would the materials be if i made it:

Boots: leather with rubber soles and silver coated buckles
Fishnets
Skirt: light cotton blend
Corset: leather and cotton blend. the skull and crossbones is actually a part of a MySpace background I used to use. I thought it would make a cool appliqué on checkered fabric.
Bracelet: leather and silver coated cross (I own this piece only its brown leather and bronze metal)
Necklace: I love this, black crystals beads and an hourglass pendant filled with red liquid and a tiny black heart bead. It's another of my personal designs.
